Vitality Stadium, also known as Dean Court, is home to AFC Bournemouth. Opened in 1910 and rebuilt in 2001, it has a capacity of about 11,300, making it the smallest Premier League ground. The stadium was renamed Vitality Stadium in 2015 due to sponsorship.
Located near Pokesdown and Bournemouth train stations, it’s accessible by public transport and offers nearby parking. Away fans are hosted in the East Stand, with local pubs and eateries mainly in Boscombe or the town center.
In 2025, AFC Bournemouth repurchased the stadium and announced plans to expand its capacity to 20,000. The development aims to meet rising demand and enhance the fan experience while supporting the club’s Premier League ambitions.
The postcode for Vitality Stadium is BH7 7AF, and satnavs will direct you there. Follow brown road signs with a football icon, though some may still refer to the stadium as Dean Court. Plan to arrive early for matches.
From the North: Take the M6, M42, and M40, exiting at junction 9 to follow the A34 and M3. Continue via the M27 and A31, then take the A338 to Bournemouth. Exit toward Boscombe and follow Kings Park Drive; the stadium is on the left.

The M1/M2 More Buses service runs every 30 minutes and is accessible from Pokesdown and Bournemouth train stations. Alight at Ashley Road for a five-minute walk to the stadium. Most trains arrive at Bournemouth Central Station, which is wheelchair accessible. Exit via the south entrance (facing Asda), turn left, and head to the main road. Turn left again onto Holdenhurst Road and walk straight for about 25 minutes until you reach a roundabout. Turn right onto Kings Park Drive; the stadium is on the left.
Pokesdown Station, the closest to the stadium at about a 15-minute walk (roughly a mile), is not wheelchair accessible. From the station, turn right onto Christchurch Road (A35), walk 400m, then turn right onto Gloucester Road. Follow the signs for Kings Park to reach Vitality Stadium.
