All about Hull's Craven Park

Craven Park, currently known as the Sewell Group Craven Park Stadium due to sponsorship, is a rugby league stadium situated in Kingston upon Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It serves as the home ground for Hull Kingston Rovers, one of the city's two professional rugby league teams.

Craven Park hosted its first concert in 2017, attracting a crowd of 20,000 for a performance by Paul Heaton and Jacqui Abbott, former vocalists of The Housemartins and The Beautiful South, on 3 June. They were supported by Billy Bragg and The Divine Comedy.

In July 2018, Little Mix took the stage at Craven Park for the first time, drawing another 20,000 attendees as part of their "Summer Hits Tour." The group was set to return in June 2020, but their tour was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Westlife was also scheduled to perform at Craven Park on 10 July 2020 as part of their reunion "Stadiums in the Summer Tour," but the pandemic forced its cancellation. Similarly, Sir Tom Jones’ concert, originally set for 13 June 2020, was postponed and later rescheduled to 4 September 2021.

In 2023, Craven Park hosted two major shows: Rod Stewart performed on 4 July, supported by Culture Club as part of his UK tour, followed by The Who on 6 July. The Who, accompanied by a live orchestra, played the first UK date of their "The Who Hits Back!" tour, supported by UB40.

On 17 September 2024, Coldplay announced two performances at Craven Park on 18-19 August 2025, part of the UK leg of their Music of the Spheres World Tour. Notably, 10% of ticket proceeds from each night will be donated to the Music Venues Trust.
