Co-op Live is an indoor arena located in Manchester’s Etihad Campus, next to the City of Manchester Stadium.
Opened on 14 May 2024, it features 32 bars, restaurants, and lounges, with the largest floor space of any indoor venue in the city.
Developed by Oak View Group in partnership with City Football Group, the £365 million project began construction in 2021.
The Co-operative Group announced in 2020 that it would be a major investor, with exclusive benefits for its members. The arena faced delays, including power issues and technical setbacks, which led to rescheduled performances by artists like Peter Kay, The Black Keys, and Take That.
The venue finally opened on 14 May 2024 with Elbow as the first act.
Upcoming events include performances by Robbie Williams, Liam Gallagher, Janet Jackson, Pearl Jam, and The Eagles.
Co-op Live will also host the MTV Europe Music Awards in November 2024 and UFC 304 in July. Additionally, Billie Eilish will perform four nights in July 2025, and Tyler, the Creator will play two nights in May 2025.
